Crazy guys on telly
I'm watching some mockumentary about sending guys and gals to Mars. Some weirdo science dude (who may be related to someone from the ill-fated Challenger mission, or one of the ground crew or something) is saying (paraphrased) "How can we possibly be contemplating sending precious lives on a misson of this kind, when we could be sending robots risk-free." It's quite simple, life is an adventure, and crossing the road is probably more dangerous than going to Mars.
Enough ranting. I'm also currently using the cheapo lens I got off ebay ages ago (wide-angle, 24mm pre-digi adjust, f.2.8) to take some promo shots for the Collective. It's going to be awesome.
