Well, another stint of house-sitting finished. Good show. And I've just nabbed a pIII700 for £60 incl. monitor, keyboard and mouse, uberbargain. Aside from that, feeling rather sad today. Oh yes and I'm now located in a big open plan office thing with the head of personnel sat right behind me, which means I am constrained to doing work activities while he's about, bah. I'll be glad to get back into my freshly decorated, carpeted and blinded converted toilet. Also picked up an obscure play from the table outside the library where they give old books away, entitled "The Madras House" by Granville Barker, never heard of him but fantastically Imperial name, sort of name you imagine perambulating around in a big handlebar mostache and tweeds, printed in 1922. Probably complete rot but I love old books.
