Well that was a good weekend I must say, if not a little damaging to liver and wallet alike. Went to see my mate mat for the weekend, eastside aii. On friday we watched some films, one was Yojimbo, Japanese Samurai epic, splendid. Another was Ghost Dog, about a gangsta hitman who follows the Way of the Samurai (is a pattern emerging?) with hilarious results. Also watched the bonus stuff from Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back on mat's dvd, which were ace. Jay swears a lot, very rude man. Er, think we watched another film but can't remember. Then on saturday we went to the Bluewater Shopping Mall, ghastly place with no style or character, full of north-kent and essex wideboys and kappaslappas. Sea of Ben Sherman and Thomas Burbery as far as the eye can see. We only went there for yo!sushi but it has turned into AnotherIdenticalItalianRestaurant, so that was a disappointment. And they wouldn't let us sit outside at Pizza Express, los bastardos. Bought Morrowind for the PC, massively huge and non-linear RPG (hippah), and a 5 cd Classical music thing for a fiver, cool.
Then went out with the lads (and a lass) to a couple of pubs and a pop/rock club in the evening, it was cool but nothing really interesting happened apart from the bouncer taking the piss out of mat's fat wallet. "You gonna club someone with this mate hur hur" etc. Then wen't back to mat's gaff and played snooker and drank hard licker and played snooker till 5am, very nice. Felt a bit under the weather on sunday. Not a bad weekend all told. Oh and I was bought a fantastic book by someone very special so I'm happy about that too. Bonjour,
