CRAZY OLD WITCH TERRORISES HAPLESS WHITTON RESIDENTS.
I have not had a good night.
Firstly, I accidentally got myself immersed in a computer game and didn't even get to bed till 1:30am (ban computer games, thats what I say. Oh and books, they keep me up too). Then I went on to have various vicious and disturbing nightmares about giant vegetables and soforth, as one does, and at about 03:30 I was awoken by a terrific banging from the old woman next door. I never knew she had it in her! Seriously though, a succession of increasingly loud bangings on the wall ensured I wouldn't go back to sleep, and when I finally lost my rag, I pounded on the wall myself, whereon the knocks moved progressively down the wall from the head of my bed toward the window. Bloody odd. Then at about 4:30am, some vixen was throwing a strop about something or other and making noises like a cat being inflated and used as bagpipes. Then I overslept and was late for work. Argh.
p.s. in case anyone thinks I am a cruel and heartless bastard for ignoring the knockings of an old crone, she does this every single night at varying times, although this is the latest one. I think she's still bitter about me parking my car in front of her drive for two minutes to unload my furniture when I moved in. She's got a button that makes cars disappear you know.
