Anyone for Tennis?

Aside from eeping at the new blogger format (I like it), I have been having another splendid weekend, albeit crushingly devastating on the wallet (again). Wrangled friday off work, and set about trying to get to Wimbledon for 10:15. Was half an hour late. Trapsed around the perimeter of the Wimbledon Tennis Centre (it's absolutely HUGE) for quite a while till I met the lads and we went in. Watched a splendid ladies singles match, two absurdly fit young ladies from somewhere in eastern europe making grunting and screaming noises while waggling their bottoms and bouncing around was most distracting, and shouldn't be allowed. I went there to watch tennis, not leer, for gods sake. Anyway, that was ace, some splendid tantrums and racket beating was beholden, and there really are some times when I curse having no leg to cross.

Then faffed around a bit, stretched my leg, and watched a mens singles game with a fellow named Bjorkman and some other fellow named Gimelstob, who was very surly and had the most bizarre serve I'd ever seen. o__ o_| o/~ o|` o/` o__ see, wierd huh? Anyway Bjorkman crushed him in straight sets I think, then Myles turned up and we didn't get to see much more tennis between faffing around trying to cadge a free ticket to Number One Court (didn't happen, was never going to), drinking absurdly expensive beer, grumbling at the light rain, and arsing around in the Officials Butts (they love it).

Rest of weekend was spend getting roaring drunk and staying up till a bonkers hour of the morning (post-dawn) with the usual suspects. Bonza. And I apologise to my liver for the terrible beatings I've given it over the past couple of weekends.
