Alright well this seems to sort of work. The Live Update bit doesnt work, but thats not suprising as I am behind a monster firewall at work (shh) and have to use a lame-o-http proxy to get out. All entirely un-necessary if you ask me but there we go. Modern times security eh. At least I can post from here then update when I get home, I suppose. Not that I've got much to say as you can see...

Anyway today. Today is being much as any other day, extreme boredom at work as I've nothing to do (again), but I did have a bit of excitement this morning before I got in. For I visited the dentist, horror. First time I've been in about 7 or 8 years (possibly more), and unsuprisingly the years have taken their toll somewhat on my gnashers. Not much mind. I had my first ever filling today, and quite frankly I don't know what all the fuss is about. Even the injecting of the anaesthetic wasn't too bad, I just felt a small prick, haha, then all the left side of my face went progressivbely numb. Splendid. Then some form of pneumatic drill and anglegrinder device hacked away at my tooth for a bit, and some silver stuff was poured into the hole and set with an UV light. That's all there was to it. It doesnt even show, I had to look very hard to see it at home this lunchtime, so I'm not hideously defaced or anything. I advise everyone to consider dentistry, as an hours work got this young girl (bosoms pressed against my face for comforting effect while I was having my enamel hacked away) dentist £80. Which I can scarce afford, but you only get two sets of teeth, right?

While continuing to take advantage of this quiet patch, I am (aside from blogging) blasting my way through a couple of (howls of derision) noo-meeja [new media] courses, namely Advanced Javascript and Dreamweaver at my local adult college. It all seems to make it incredibly complicated, and to be honest the only thing I'd like to use them for is tables (which nobody uses anymore) and frames, which can be a pain in the arse. The JavaScript course is great though, giving me an introduction to coding and taxing my brain a little, while producing very tangible results in only the second week of learning. You may have seen my swanky and entirely un-necessary random photo poster on the front page of woodsta.com. One day I too will be earning squillions by writing a basic webpage in 2 minutes! (You know who you are).

Anyway enough for now, better find something productive to do before the IT dept. thought police come and axe my privelidges, laters.
